Simple Fish Fry

Fish Fry Cooked in South Indian Style or chepala vepudu, is a popular South Indian food recipe. Fish simmered and marinated in an awesome spicy masala and cooked to perfection. It is simple, easy and a lip smacking fish fry recipe.

Simple Fish Curry:

Though fish is so smelly, I like fried fish which is spicy..Spicy taste dominates the fish smell and makes fish taste much better..I usually cook variety of fish, I prefer salmon for this fry. Fish is healthy but smells odd which I don`t like. So thought to try in Indian style so that the masala cover-up the smell..

Try this simple and easy method and enjoy!!!



Salmon fish slices -4

Red chili powder-1 tspsalt-a/c to tasteTurmeric powder-1/2 tspcoriander powder-1 tspGaramMasala-1 tspGingergarlic paste1 tsp
Oil-for deep fryingLemon juice-1/2
All purpose flour-2 tsp

·        Wash fish with rock salt until the smell goes away.
·        Pat dry the pieces with paper towel.
·        Mix salt and turmeric powder and set aside.
1.  In a bowl add Ginger Garlic Paste,Redchilli powder, Coriander Powder,Garam Masala powder,lemon,flour,1tsp oil mix well and make in to thick paste adding water.
2.  Now, coat this paste to fish pieces on all sides with your hand.
3.  Rest this for 30 minutes.
4.  Heat oil in a pan for frying.
5.  Slowly drop the fish pieces and fry on low flame till golden brown.
6.  Fish fry is ready now.Enjoy!!!
·                     Do not flip the fish immediately after adding fry for minute,this way     the masala doesn’t fall off.
·                     You can add some curd while washing the fish using curd you can quickly get rid of fish smell.
