Ingredients:

Drumsticks-4 cut into 2″ inch long

Oil-1 big sliced

Curry leaves-2 strands

Mustard seeds-2tsp

Dry red chillies-2

Chana daal(Bengal gram)-2tsp

Urad daal(Black gram)-2tsp

For Powder:

Peanuts-2Tbsp

Roasted gram daal-2Tbsp

Garlic-3-4 pods

Salt-1tsp

Dry red chillies or Red chilli powder(2Tbsp)-4

Preparations:

  • In bowl boil drumsticks till 80% done.
  • Make a powder of ingredients mentioned under(Powder).
  • Slice the onions, set aside.

METHOD:

  1. In a non-stick pan add oil, add chana daal, urad daal, mustard seeds fry till nice aroma.
  2. Add sliced onion, curry leaves, dry redchillies fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add boiled drumsticks, fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Finally add grinded powder and mix well. Close lid and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot Enjoy!!!

Tips:

  • Serves 3-4.
  • Goes well as a side dish for Plain rice, daal.
  • You can add dry coconut in the place of peanuts.
