Ingredients:
For Marination:
Chicken boeneless-500 grams cut into small cubes
Black Pepper powder-2tsp
Salt-1tsp
Soy sauce-2tsp
Vinegar or lemon juice-1Tbsp
Egg white- one
Corn flour-2Tbsp
Oil- for deep frying
For Sauce:
Tomato ketchup-1Tbsp
Red Chilli sauce-1Tbsp
Red chilly flakes-2tsp
Honey-1Tbsp or as per taste
Oil-2tsp
Preparations:
- Wash Chicken cubes thoroughly with water 2-3 times. Drain the water completely. Place in a sieve.
- Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients mentioned in “sauce” part. Set aside.
- Take washed and drained chicken cubes add all the ingredients one by one, except oil mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
METHOD:
- Heat oil in a wok add marinated chicken cubes and fry till half done. Fry in batches. Again double fry the chicken cubes till brown. Set aside.
- Take another wok or pan add little oil and add prepared sauce. Add little water and simmer it for 2 minutes. Add fried chicken and toss it on high flame till the sauce is well coated to the pieces.
- If you want drizzle some more honey and mix well. Switch off the flame Honey Chilli Chicken is done. Garnish with coriander leaves . Enjoy!!!
Tips:
- Serves 3-4.
- Goes well as a starter or as a side dish with steamed rice and daal.
- Always use chicken breast for this type of recipes.
