Easy Chicken Pakoda
Chicken pakoda a very tasty starter. Today I am gonna share a very quick and tasty and easy chicken pakoda recipe that you never tried before. Formally we make many chicken starters like chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, chicken tangdi kabab etc., but this is very different recipe . I am sure you will fall in love with this recipe. To make this chicken pakoda I use one special masala paste which makes the recipe crispy outside and juicy inside. So, do try this recipe and let me know how it turned out.. Let’s start making..
Ingredients:
Chicken-½ kilo
Gram flour-2Tbsp
Corn flour-2Tsbp
Lemon- half
Salt-a/c taste.
Oil- for deep frying
Egg-1
Baking soda-½tsp
For Special Masala paste:
Garlic-12 cloves
Ginger-2″ inch
Curry leaves-few
Dry red chilly-1
Kashmiri Red chilly powder-2Tbsp
Cumin powder-1tsp
Garam masala powder-1tsp
Coriander powder-1½tsp
Curd-2Tbsp
Preparations:
- Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and strain the water completely.
- Grind the paste with the ingredients mentioned above in “Special Masala Paste”.
METHOD:
- Take a mixing bowl add washed chicken pieces, add grounded masala paste.
- Add gram flour, corn flour ,lemon, salt . Add baking soda, egg mix well. Set aside for at least half-an-hour.
- Heat the oil for deep frying and fry the chicken pieces in batches till golden brown. Serve hot and Enjoy!!!
Tips:
- Adding baking soda helps the chicken crispy.
- Adding egg, the masala will coat properly to the chicken and will not separate while frying.
- Marination is the key. If you have time try to marinate the chicken more than half-an-hour.
