So I was searching for healthy options.. came to know about this snack. You can make it and store in air tight container for about 15 days.

Ingredients:

Puffed Rice(Murmura)-1 Large bowl.

Makhana(Lotus Seeds)-½ bowl

Oil-2tsp

Peanuts-½cup

Curry leaves-few

Almonds-2Tbsp

Cashews-2Tbsp

Raisins-10-12

Salt-a/c taste

Turmeric-1tsp

Red chilli powder-2tsp

Preparations:

  • Dry roast Puffed rice and Makhana separately. Set aside.

METHOD:

  1. Take a wide pan or kadai. Add oil and roast peanuts.
  2. Add curry leaves, fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add almonds and cashews. Fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add salt, turmeric and red chlli powder fry on low flame for 2 minutes. Add raisins and mix well.
  5. Take out from flame, now add fried puffed rice and makhana. Mix well. Let it be for sometime. Then sore in a air tight container and Enjoy!! as tea time snack.

Tips:

  • Last up to 15days if stored in a air tight container.
  • Be careful while dry roasting puffed rice and makhana, they will burnt in nowhile.
  • Makhana take little more time to become crunchy. Don’t be in hurry to roast them.
  • You can use black salt in the place of regular salt.
