Delicious Mango Kheer Recipe: A Creamy Indian Dessert Delight

Ripe Mangoes-4 medium size

Vanilla flavor Custard powder-2Tbsp

Milk-1 liter

Khoya/Condense Milk/Milk powder-100grams

Sugar- ½cup or as per taste

Fresh cream-¼cup

Chopped Nuts-3Tbsp

Mango small Chunks-¼cup (optional)


  • Wash the mangoes, make it into puree. Set aside.

  • In a bowl add custard powder and 4Tbsp milk, mix well without any lumps. Set aside.


  1. Boil milk in a large bowl. Bring it to one boil.
  2. Add grated khoya. If khoya is not available add condense milk or milk powder.
  3. Add sugar mix well. Add custard powder mixed milk and stir continuously. Boil for 2-4 minutes until the milk thickens.
  4. Add yellow food color. This step is totally optional.
  5. Add fresh cream, mix well. Let the mixture cool completely. Refrigerate it  for 1 hour.
  6. Now, add the mango puree and mix well. Additionally you can add 2Tbsp of condense milk for extra taste.
  7. Add mango chunks. Serve chilled with chopped nuts. Enjoy!!!


  • Always use good quality mangoes, which do not have any threads.
  • If you feel any threads in mangoes strain the puree before mixing.
  • You can make the milk mixture before hand and serve with fresh mango puree.
