Delicious Mango Kheer Recipe: A Creamy Indian Dessert Delight

Ingredients:
Ripe Mangoes-4 medium size
Vanilla flavor Custard powder-2Tbsp
Milk-1 liter
Khoya/Condense Milk/Milk powder-100grams
Sugar- ½cup or as per taste
Fresh cream-¼cup
Chopped Nuts-3Tbsp
Mango small Chunks-¼cup (optional)
Preparations:
- Wash the mangoes, make it into puree. Set aside.
- In a bowl add custard powder and 4Tbsp milk, mix well without any lumps. Set aside.
METHOD:
- Boil milk in a large bowl. Bring it to one boil.
- Add grated khoya. If khoya is not available add condense milk or milk powder.
- Add sugar mix well. Add custard powder mixed milk and stir continuously. Boil for 2-4 minutes until the milk thickens.
- Add yellow food color. This step is totally optional.
- Add fresh cream, mix well. Let the mixture cool completely. Refrigerate it for 1 hour.
- Now, add the mango puree and mix well. Additionally you can add 2Tbsp of condense milk for extra taste.
- Add mango chunks. Serve chilled with chopped nuts. Enjoy!!!
Tips:
- Always use good quality mangoes, which do not have any threads.
- If you feel any threads in mangoes strain the puree before mixing.
- You can make the milk mixture before hand and serve with fresh mango puree.
