Soji Laddu

Ingredients:

Soji-2cups

Cashews-1Tbsp(broken)

Almonds-1Tbsp(broken)

Raisins-½Tbsp

Ghee or Clarified Butter-½cup

Desiccated Coconut Powder-1cup 

Sugar-2cups

Milk-½cup

Cardamom powder-½tsp

METHOD:

  1. Take a Non-stick pan, heat ghee and add all nuts and fry till golden brown, make sure you add raisins at last to avoid burning. Take them out and set aside.
  2. In the same ghee, add soji and fry for 2 mins.
  3. Add desiccated coconut powder, fry till nice aroma.
  4. Add sugar, mix well and switch off the flame.
  5. Add milk gradually and mix well.
  6. Take in a wide plate, while semi hot make into round laddus.
  7. Cool them and store in a air-tight glass jar. Enjoy!!!

Tips:

  • Makes 12-15 laddus.
  • Stays upto 8-10 days.
